Today we were visited by Saioa Munduate, a researcher from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, who expressed interest in the role of the regional offices in Brussels. She asked us about our daily activities, the networks we participate in, and the relationships we maintain with other European provinces, autonomous communities, and regions.
We provided her with a detailed overview of our missions, the parameters of our engagement with EU institutions, and the benefits we believe Navarre, its citizens, businesses, and organizations derive from this work. We also discussed the near future and the potential changes our work might undergo in an EU that moves toward greater centralization or reinforces the role of member states in its internal functioning. We agreed to stay in touch and offer our full cooperation in the future.
