Visit by María Gafo of the European Commissions Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development

Today we were visited by María Gafo, head of the unit dedicated to social sustainability within the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture.

María spoke to us about the negotiations on the MFF (Multiannual Financial Framework) regarding agriculture and rural development, as well as current initiatives on generational succession, ultra-processed foods, and Leader projects.

We asked her about Navarre’s situation in comparison with other European regions and explained the role and responsibilities of the Permanent Office of Navarre to the European Union.
