Last Tuesday, September 29th, the Permanent Office of Navarre to the EU held a gathering of people from Navarre in Brussels.
The afternoon brought together numerous Navarrese men and women, municipal representatives, and Navarrese Members of the European Parliament, who had the opportunity to meet, converse, and enjoy a day together. The event was also attended by Ana Ollo, Second Vice President of the Government of Navarre and Minister of Memory and Coexistence, External Action, and the Basque Language. The Vice President addressed the attendees and raised a toast to Navarre and to the bonds that unite those who remain in our region and those far from home. The afternoon unfolded in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by appetizers and local specialties. It was an occasion to celebrate, enjoy Navarrese cuisine, and keep alive, even from Brussels, those traditions that make us feel close to home.
