Marta Goñi's visit, Director of R&D at INTIA

We welcomed Marta Goñi, R&D coordinator at the Navarre Institute of Agri-Food Technologies and Infrastructures SA (INTIA), attached to the Department of Rural Development and Environment of the Government of Navarre and part of the Navarre Public Business Corporation (CPEN), to our office.

During this meeting, which was also attended by Angela Ustarroz, director of EU partnerships and programs at ADITECH in Brussels, whose headquarters are located in the Office, Marta Goñi outlined the milestones in the current configuration of INTIA, which has 300 employees and has been a pioneer in Spain in applied research and knowledge transfer.

Marta Goñi is in the EU capital to attend an event where she will explain a project on best practices in fertilizers, a network called STRATUS. This program is being led by INTIA, which coordinates different European territories.

For our part, we explained the Office's mission, its functions in Brussels, and its relationship with EU institutions, regions, and different networks based in the EU capital.

We expressed a shared desire to continue our relationship in support of Navarre's primary sector during these uncertain times for the sector.
