#EURegionsWeek close to you: Cross-Border Cooperation for a Stronger Europe

The Permanent Office of Navarre to the EU hosted the event "Cross-Border Cooperation for a Stronger Europe" on October 13, organized by Navarre as part of the 2026 European Week of Regions and Cities. The meeting brought together representatives from the Government of Navarre, the Basque Government, the Pyrenees Working Community (CTP), the New Aquitaine–Basque Country-Navarre Euroregion, and the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR). Representatives from the Interreg Italy-Austria, Interreg Aurora, and Interreg VI-D Madeira-Azores-Canary Islands (MAC) programs also attended as observers. After the working sessions, participants gathered for coffee in a more relaxed setting. It was an opportunity to exchange views, share experiences, and build stronger connections. The visit also provided an opportunity to introduce the Office and highlight its role as a meeting point for cooperation between Navarre and European institutions and regions.
