The director of the European Projects Office, Silvia Ojer Torres, has accompanied several SMEs and other Navarrese entities interested in improving their knowledge of European organizations in Brussels.
On May 28 and 29, the Europa + Cerca meeting organized by Enterprise Europe Network Spain (EEN) took place. with the collaboration of AIN, the University of Navarra and the Government of Navarra. This initiative aims to increase the participation of regional companies in Horizon Europe. This year a total of 30 companies from the consortium between La Rioja, Extremadura and Navarra have participated. Specifically, 9 leading companies in innovation in Navarra attended:Ingredalia, Ingenialma, Atecna, Avir Animal Comfort, Saygom, CENER, Pitk, Eatex, y Envirohemp.
Today we received a visit from Marina Muñoz and Juan Luis García from the Navarro Center for Comprehensive Learning (CNAI), who came to Brussels on the occasion of The Event, European Agenda for the future of VET organized by EVTA, an association of which they are part .
We were happy to receive in the delegation the director of Fundación Dédalo, Rodrigo Zardoya, who was in Brussels on the occasion of his participation in an All Digital Weeks event. He also had the opportunity to meet with the Director General of External Action, Sergio Pérez, who was attending the ECON Commission of the European Committee of the Regions.
Today we had a visit from Beatriz de Diego, Director of Innovation in the NAGRIFOOD Cluster.On the occasion of the European Cluster Conference 2024, she has been transferred to Brussels. She explained to us what the projects in which they participate consist of and their priorities, such as sustainability, health or food competitiveness. Likewise, she has been interested in our functions in the delegation of the Government of Navarra.
On Thursday, the public company of the Government of Navarra attached to the Department of University, Innovation and Digital Transformation, TRACASA Instrumental, visited the Delegation. We have the participation of Kattalin del Valle de Lesundi, Pablo Vega Ezquieta and Christian Ayala. The delegation hosted its mid-term meeting of the IntSen2 project.

Last Friday, Carlos Naya, Director of the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the University of Navarra and Javier Antón Sancho, professor at the University of Navarra, visited the Delegation on the occasion of their invitation to the New European Bauhaus awards ceremony.
On April 2, Óscar Rubio, Head of the Office of Prevention and promotion of the circular economy at Consorcio de Residuos de Navarra, and his family visited us. With Óscar we have collaborated from the Delegation on numerous occasions to organize events during Green Week and the European Waste Prevention Week.
Eskarne Arregui works in the executive agency of the European Commission, HaDEA, specifically in the unit dedicated to European projects for research in advanced materials, funded by cluster 4 of Horizon Europe. The projects managed by Eskarne are in the areas of intensive industries, improving the efficiency of industrial processes, product circularity and zero emissions.
Last Friday we had a visit from Carlota Sánchez Ruiz de la Cuesta, who has recently settled in Brussels. We talked about job opportunities in the European capital and he showed interest in the activity of the Delegation.

On February 13, we received a visit from José Salcedo and Haritz Echarren, Navarrese students from the College of Europe, in Bruges (Belgium). They complete, for one year, a postgraduate degree in international relations and diplomacy, after passing a tough selection process. They told us about their experience and were interested in the work of the delegation of Navarra to the European Union.

During the past June 28 and 29, we have had the pleasure of hosting the visit of four students selected within the Erasmus+ COworkids project, of the Pamplona City Council. This consists of a training program, where the topics addressed have sensitized young people about the role of the European Union in the day-to-day life of citizenship, policies on gender equality in Europe, as well as measures in environmental or the Sustainable Development Goals.

We have been visited by a group of students from the University of Navarra, on their study trip to Brussels, and accompanied by two professors of International Relations. They were very interested in the work we do in this delegation, as well as in the internship opportunities in Brussels, both in the delegation and in the EU institutions.
