As part of a trip to Brussels to mark the conclusion of the European SHARE project, representatives from the Government of Navarre’s Directorate General for Migration Policy visited Navarre’s Permanent Representation to the European Union.
A group of companies from Navarre (Amets Biotechnology, Camino People, MIMO Dioscience, Nanogrow Biotech, Prosimed, Aldakin, and Ysium Medical) visited the Permanent Representation of Navarre to the EU as part of a EUROPA+CERCA mission to gain firsthand insight into the reality of Brussels, the beating heart of the EU.

On April 13th, the monthly meeting of the health working group of the European ERRIN network took place at our Navarre Office in Brussels. The health group consists of five coordinators from the regions of Vasta Gotteland, Copenhagen, Île-de-France, Catalonia, and Navarra.

On Thursday, February 12, a delegation from the AIN Association of the Industry of Navarre, consisting of Nancy Tarjenian (Director of Business Development for Technology in Europe) and Alejandro Martínez (Researcher in Surfaces and Advanced Materials Technology), came to our office.
The final event of the Plan4CET project took place on February 10th, where the concrete results, tools, and lessons learned from the LIFE-CET projects funded by the European Union were presented. Prior to this, on February 9th, a working meeting was held at the Navarre Office to the EU.

The Permanent Office of Navarre to the EU has collaborated in organizing a visit by a group of students from different schools in Pamplona/Iruña to the capital of the EU as part of the ERASMUS + Destination Europe program: from Pamplona/Iruña to Brussels.

On January 23rd we had the opportunity to welcome a group of students from San Cernin School, in Pamplona, on their trip to Brussels. This trip is part of the "The European Parliament Ambassador School Programme" (EPAS), which gives students the opportunity to understand their rights as EU citizens and to learn about the role of the European Parliament.
The Minister of Industry and the Ecological and Digital Business Transition, Mikel Irujo, has visited the 'European Hydrogen Week' fair that is being held this week in Brussels, and in which 6 companies and technology centers participate in a mission to promote the development of the green hydrogen in the Foral Community. During his visit, Irujo highlighted that “Navarra is one of the European regions with the greatest potential for the development of green hydrogen.”
Juan Ramón Aramendia, coordinator of the Cybersecurity Center of Navarra, has visited the Delegation of the Government of Navarra in Brussels within the framework of the Cybersecurity Days 2024, which are carried out in the Committee of the Regions and the Economic Committee and Social. During his participation in this event, he gave a presentation on the importance of cybersecurity in the regional context.
The non-profit foundation ADItech, coordinator of the Navarre R&D&I System (SINAI), has organised a business mission to Brussels with the aim of encouraging Navarre-based companies to participate in European projects and establish contact with potential partners at an international level. We welcomed Silvia Ojer Torres, director of European projects at Acción Exterior, to the delegation, who presented her work to bring Navarre closer to Europe.
María Isabel Ugarte Carbonero, head of innovation projects at ZEO Technology, Carles Arbanat Castellvi, CEO and founder of the start-up Lab4Impact, and Ion Arrizabalaga, coordinator of the Polo IRIS, participated in this mission.
On the occasion of their visit to Brussels with the Global Journalism Program of the University of Navarra, 15 students visited us. In addition, we received in the delegation Juan Herrero from Mercadona, Alejando Cercas from Vicens, David Postius from Banco Santander and Susana Garayoa from Zabala who offered a round table for the students.
From September 2 to 6, students from schools in Pamplona, aged 14 to 19, visited the Delegation. They have been selected with the Erasmus + project organized by the Pamplona City Council.
