AGORADA 2026: Regional Development through Structural Changes

Next Thursday, June 11th, members of the SODENA team will travel to Brussels to participate in AGORADA 2026, a conference organized by EURADA and aimed at regional development agencies from across Europe.

Since 1992, AGORADA has been a Brussels-based conference that brings together Regional Development Agencies, EU institutions, regional and local authorities, innovation stakeholders, business support organisations, academia, and policy experts to exchange on the future of regional economic development in Europe.

This year’s edition will focus on how regions can navigate and respond to key structural transformations shaping Europe’s economy and policy landscape, including the green transition, digitalisation, evolving industrial policy, geopolitical uncertainty and the implementation of th EU competitiveness compass.

The conference will explore the crucial role of regional ecosystems and development agencies in translating European priorities into concrete actions on the ground, fostering dialogue, knowledge exchange, and stronger cooperation across Europe.
