The Automotive Regions Alliance (ARA) recently held its latest high-level conference on May 26th and 27th in Bilbao.
The meeting focused on accelerating the mobility transition in Europe, as well as reaching a unified position on the EU’s automotive package, addressing the regional impact of the phase-out of internal combustion engines. Additionally, this gathering promotes the exchange of best practices among automotive regions regarding autonomous driving, sustainable fuels, workforce training, and industrial policy. The president of the Autonomous Community of Navarre, María Chivite, traveled to Bilbao to participate in the meeting.
