On this significant date, we commemorate the landmark speech delivered by French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman, which served as a wake-up call to a continent devastated by war and paved the way for reconciliation.

Seventy-six years ago, a bold step was taken toward the integration of the Old Continent with the firm intention of preventing further armed conflicts on our soil. Thus began what we now know as the European Union. Navarre is fully committed to this process, and thus will once again be present at the open house at the Committee of the Regions with an informational and culinary booth. We invite everyone who happens to be in Brussels that day, to take advantage of this opportunity and stop by our booth to learn more about the Committee of the Regions and Navarre.
