CPMR - From vision to action: the Atlantic Arc Commission meets in Seville to align resources on Atlantic flagship projects

The General Assembly also was an opportunity for the Atlantic Arc Commission Regions to sign a Joint Declaration for the Territorial Development of the Atlantic Area, with Atlantic Cities, the Atlantic Network of Chambers of Commerce, Atlantic Universities, Socio-professionals Organisations and Regional Centres of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development, which all undertake to promote inclusive, sustainable and innovative territorial development in the Atlantic area. Five strategic objectives have been set: a sustainable economy, improved connectivity, climate resilience, social and cultural cohesion, and strengthened multi-level governance.

To make this vision a reality, they commit to launching an annual forum, developing joint flagship projects in line with the projects defined in the roadmap for the macro-region, and aligning resources to implement such ambition.
