CPMR - Navarra commits to promoting marine renewable energy, particularly offshore wind power, and the future Atlantic macro-region, during the Wind Europe 2022 trade show

The Government of Navarre has endorsed the political declaration issued by the regions comprising the Atlantic Arc of the Conference of Peripheral and Maritime Regions (CPMR), which calls for a firm commitment to promoting offshore wind energy, simplifying project approval procedures, and improving access to funding for R&D projects in this field. They also call for the creation of an Atlantic macro-region to strengthen this governance structure and urge the Council to mandate the European Commission to develop it.
